Conference by Prof. Ellen Gruber Garvey, author of Writing With Scissors. American Scrapbooks from the Civil War to the Harlem Renaissance (Oxford UP, 2013),
Ellen Garvey will present her book and research on American scrapbooks, focusing on scrapbooks made by women.

followed by a presentation by Valerie Baudier of an essay by Eliane Tabone Lecarne on french female autobiographies
